Control Techniques, part of the Nidec group, has announced the release of new Interbus fieldbus option modules for its Unidrive M, Commander C and Digitax HD AC and Servo drive platforms.

SI-Interbus modules have been designed for easy integration of Control Techniques’ drives in applications that use Interbus fieldbus. The new modules include the ability to use up to 63 nodes on a network, and are available in two formats that support data rates of 500 kBd or 2 MBd.

A Remote Bus Out adapter is also available for easy retrofit of existing Control Techniques’ drive installations that incorporate the previous generation SM-Interbus option module.
