To tackle the problems that arise in centrifugal, axial and propeller ventilation, Nidec Leroy-Somer offers a very wide range of drive mechanisms which meet the specific requirements of applications: safety motors certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres or for smoke extraction, high-temperature motors, drive mechanisms, such as for example motors with a large number of poles, which make appliances significantly quieter, etc. In addition to two-speed motors, Nidec Leroy-Somer also offers variable speed solutions to maximise energy savings.

Expertise and reference projects
In partnership with its customers, Nidec Leroy-Somer optimises motorised fan torque and develops compact, energy-saving solutions. A ventilation laboratory determines the characteristics, in terms of air flow and acoustics, of motorised fans with flow rates of up to 30,000 m3 per hour.
