St. Louis, MO (November 5, 2014) – Nidec Motor Corporation (NMC) will showcase its next generation 56 frame pool motor, Aqua-Shield^TM, at the upcoming International Pool, Spa, Patio Expo in Orlando, FL, November 5-7. 

Aqua-Shield, which joins the U.S. MOTORS® brand family of pool motors manufactured by NMC, is designed to provide superior moisture resistance inside the motor where water and debris can damage windings and cause premature motor failure.

Since bearings within a pool motor can be a high wear and tear item and a labor-intensive repair, all U.S. MOTORS brand pool motors feature three layers of bearing protection:  double-sealed ball bearings, lip seal and water slinger.  The Aqua-Shield 56 Frame pool motor adds an extra layer of protection:  an internal bearing cover designed to protect the drive-end bearing from internal moisture.
