Nidec Drives have launched the Control Techniques KI-Keypad Plus, its most technically advanced drive user interface to date. This is designed to make drives easier to use and add operational flexibility to applications and machinery.

From the extensive catalogue of Control Techniques solutions, Trinca took advantage of the high-dynamic Unimotor HD servo motors and high-performance Digitax servo drives, controlled by MCe and MCz motion controllers.

On June 5th and 6th 2024, Nidec Drives proudly joined key UK partners – Lockwell Electrical, Lamonde Automation, and Squawk Industries – at the Drives & Controls exhibition held at the NEC in Birmingham, UK. This event provided a platform for Nidec Drives to engage with customers about the benefits of our British-made products, our advanced research and development facilities in Mid Wales, and our exceptional customer support, featuring skilled engineers readily available to assist customers.

Miles, who has been with the company for 25 years, previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Nidec Drives. His extensive experience, both in the UK and internationally, uniquely positions him to guide Nidec Drives into its next phase of growth and development.

As part of Nidec Drives’ continuous evolution of drive technology, their new Control Techniques SI-BACnet IP option module provides enhanced control and maximum efficiency in building automation systems, ensuring accurate and co-ordinated operation to boost occupant comfort.

The Secretary of State for Wales and Conservative candidate for Monmouthshire, David TC Davies, and Craig Williams, Conservative candidate for Montgomeryshire, have today (30th May 2024) visited the Nidec Drives UK Manufacturing Site, based in Newtown, Powys. 

2023 saw Nidec Drives host a series of events in celebration of their 50th anniversary. The purpose of the events was to give back to our employees, whilst also contributing to the wider community.
