ST. LOUIS – October 23, 2017 – Nidec Motor Corporation (NMC) has promoted Tim Schamel into the role of President of its newly created Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration (HVACR) business unit for Commercial Industrial Solutions (CIS) Americas.
Since April 2016, Schamel has been Nidec’s Vice President/General Manager for its HVACR operations. Prior to joining Nidec, he held roles with increasing responsibility and scope as the Division Marketing Manager for the Sporlan Division of Parker Hannifin, as a Director of Marketing and Market Development Manager at Emerson, and in marketing and product management for HVAC at MagneTek. His academic credentials include a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology, and an MBA from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
