David Sonzogni EPGE President

On October 1st, 2018, David Sonzogni has been named as President for EPGE, the Electric Power Generation European and Asia Pacific business unit of Nidec Leroy-Somer Holding. He succeeds Ghislain Boiteau, who has been appointed President of the Nidec PSA emotors joint venture. David will report to Laurent Demortier, Nidec Leroy-Somer Holding President. In addition, David will retain his current position as Vice President for the Asia Pacific region until a replacement is named.

David is an engineer graduate from IFMA (France) and holds a master's degree in mechanical sciences from Blaise Pascal University in Clermont-Ferrand (France). David joined Leroy Somer in 2001 and occupied several sales and general management positions in the Middle East and Asia. In 2016, he was appointed EPGE Vice President for Asia-Pacific (China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and Australia).
