ST. LOUIS– June 1, 2017 – The Asian American Chamber of Commerce of St. Louis (AACC) has presented Nidec Motor Corporation CEO Kei Pang with its Executive of the Year award. Pang was honored for his professional and personal accomplishments in corporate business.

A global executive with 33 years of experience, Pang has been successful in developing, restructuring, growing and running a business in a broad range of industries, covering many geographic regions. As the CEO for Nidec Motor Corporation, he leads Nidec's global operations for the Appliance, Commercial and Industrial Motors (ACIM) business units and is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic vision of this business group.

“Kei is an outstanding business leader who has generously donated his time and energies toward bringing people together to share common values and aspirations for the good of the community,” said AACC President Al Li. “In addition to being forces in economic development, Kei and Nidec are also major contributors to many charitable and educational initiatives, including sponsorship of the annual Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden, and endowing a scholarship at the University of Missouri-St. Louis for international business.”
