RoHS
RoHS2 European Directive 2011/65/EU dealing with the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (UKCA Regulation on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2012).
The product ranges listed below comply with the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS2) Directive 2011/65/EU, as last amended on June 4th, 2015, published as Directive (EU) 2015/863 regarding the allowed amounts of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), bis(2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP).
REACH
European Union REACH Regulation EC 1907/2006
The product ranges listed below, and the product packaging do not contain chemical substances included in the ECHA candidate list in a concentration above 0.1% weight by weight (w/w), with the following exceptions:
Substances of Very High Concern (SHVC)
Lead (CAS No: 7439-92-1) is present above the limit of 0.1% weight. Lead can be found as an alloying element in steel, galvanized steel, aluminium copper alloys, and as a component in solders and in glass. Currently these leaded components are exempted under RoHS2 Directive.
N, N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc) (CAS No: 127-19-5) is present at 0.1 % - 0.25 % weight. The substance can be found in Nomex® Sheet used as a high temperature resistant insulation.
This statement will be updated as changes to the product are made, or new substances are added to the
candidate list. Information will also be provided to customers upon request.
