Overview

We are looking for a BDM Promoter GP Italy to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within the assigned territories by effectively selling the company’s products and services.
They will personally be responsible for the contacts with existing and new customers.

The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop on country base, a new business model to promote properly our GP differently from today, focused mostly on large distribution reseller market with high volume quantities per year.
  • Promote orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product technical file.
  • Explain products and services to existing and potential customers and support/guide them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Establish, develop new and maintain business relationships with both current and prospective customers in the assigned territories to generate new business.
  • Define prices for customers and discuss with distribution manager about further discounts or project price for partners.
  • Cooperate with the technical team to develop effective proposals for current and prospective customers.
  • Analyze the market and identify the new business opportunities.
  • Create and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Supply Sales Manager North with periodical reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
  • Solves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, making recommendations to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.
  • Adhere to local and international Nidec Trade Compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures in all areas of his/her work (Anti-Corruption, Ethics, Trade Compliance, Legal, Financial, etc.).

Qualifications, Experience and Profile:

  • 3-Years Engineering Degree in Electric / Mechatronic / Industrial Automation or equivalent Diploma / Specialization in Electronic.
  • At least 5 years in Sales Large Distribution position, in electronic market is a plus
  • A good command of technical English (written and spoken) is essential.
