Declaration of conformity to the EU packaging and packaging waste directive 94/62/EC
Nidec is committed to protecting the environment and aims to support customers in eliminating restricted substances within product packaging.
To this end, we have reviewed the packaging used for our products and conducted supply chain due diligence in accordance with the European Parliament and Council Directive 94/62/EC, which concerns the management of the packaging lifecycle.
Based on our knowledge of production processes and material compliance information collected from our supply chain, we hereby confirm that the sum concentration levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, and hexavalent chromium, which can be released into the environment from all packaging components, are less than 100 ppm by weight. Therefore, we declare that the product packaging supplied by Nidec Motor Corporation complies with the Article 11 requirements of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (94/62/EC).
