Role Summary
Location: Newtown, Powys, UK
An exciting opportunity awaits to be part of the Nidec Drives Global Marketing team as a Visual Media Creator.
To be responsible for the business’s visual media production, distribution, promotion, and overall success. Including producing high-quality hyper-realistic animations, motion graphics, videos, renders, and movies for internal and external communications, as well as managing content across key digital platforms including TikTok and YouTube.
Some of the main responsibilities and duties of this role are:
- Planning, creating, and managing engaging content for TikTok and YouTube.
- Producing motion graphic content for use across digital channels, presentations, and campaigns.
- Setting up and directing video shoots, working with non-professionals and employees, ensuring they feel confident and supported in bringing your creative vision to life.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand content needs and deliver impactful visual assets.
- Working alongside external creative partners, including agencies and freelancers, to ensure consistency and quality across all visual media.
- Staying up to date with trends in video production, social media, and motion graphics to continuously evolve and improve content output.
- The Visual Media Creator will be responsible for developing a strategy, identifying gaps, and proposing content for audio-visual channels to achieve results in increased online traffic, increased visibility, and brand awareness in coordination with the overall business strategy.
- Management of the Nidec Drives YouTube and TikTok channels.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education and Qualification(s)
- Qualification in motion graphics and video production/ or equivalent proven portfolio and professional experience, knowledge in visual media content
- Proven expertise of the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Maxon Cinema 4D
Experience
- Essential: Experience and track record of managing and implementing video production
- Essential: Experience and track record of directing, filming, editing and producing video content
- Essential: Experience and track record in the production of hyper-realistic animations
- Essential: Managing agencies in video production and photography
