With ACCU-Series^™, Customers Get Integrated Performance, Reliability and Compatibility

St. Louis, MO (April 27, 2016) – Nidec Motor Corporation (NMC), a leading manufacturer of commercial, industrial and appliance motors and controls, has launched a new family of variable speed products that offer product compatibility for a true system solution.

With NMC’s ACCU-Series^™ product line, customers can easily match a U.S. MOTORS^® brand inverter duty motor with an NMC drive or panel or purchase integrated motors and controls. These products are solution driven and are designed to be used together as a system. By offering all components of the drive system, NMC gives the customer a single point of contact for support and service.

By matching a new US MOTORS^® brand inverter duty motor with a drive in the ACCU-Series^™ line, a customer can enjoy the benefits of a motor match warranty that extends the drive warranty to match that of the motor.  

NMC expects widespread demand for the ACCU-Series^™ product line as customers appreciate the qualities of the products’ performance, reliability and compatibility. Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), engineering, procurement and construction management companies (EPCs), distributors and end users will benefit from products that require less time for installation and setup and perform more efficiently.

The first products to roll out under the ACCU-Series^™ line are Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Pump Panels for Agricultural Irrigation, 3-10HP electronically commutated (EC) motors with an IE4 (Super Premium efficiency) rating integrated with tuned VFDs, Individual AD700 and AD1000 drives, and the 20:1 constant torque Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) motor.
