Trinca Technology, a pioneering Italian firm in the textile machine industry, has worked in partnership with Nidec Drives since the late 1980’s to create some of the world's most advanced looms. Trinca Technology has evolved from traditional cotton and silk weaving to specialising in technical materials like metal fabrics for industrial uses, including packaging, geotextiles, and Kevlar products.
Utilising Nidec Drives’ servo and automation solutions, Trinca has significantly enhanced precision and speed while eliminating mechanical changeovers. This collaboration guarantees exceptional productivity and top-quality outputs, even in the most demanding applications. Trinca’s latest challenge was to develop a high-performing, fully digital platform for flexible production. Initially attempting to build this in-house, they soon realised the complexity and turned to Nidec Drives technology.
