Role Summary
Location: Newtown, Powys, UK
Initial 2-year contract, with possibility for extension depending on results.
Working within the Global Marketing Communications Team the Digital Marketer will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to drive the growth of Nidec Elevator and Nidec Traction’s online presence.
Developing our digital footprint to raise brand awareness, expand reach, and drive sales across the available digital media channels.
The Digital Marketer will aim for developing, building and executing digital marketing strategies and campaigns to positively impact audience engagement.
This role is crucial for helping us achieve our business objectives and effectively reach our target audience.
This position reports to the Global Marketing Communications Manager and is situated within Global Marketing at Nidec Drives headquarters in Newtown.
Some of the main responsibilities and duties of this role are:
- Responsibility for building, maintaining and growing the digital presence of multiple Nidec business segments.
- To build on and improve the current websites to better serve the market and to improve the customer experience.
- To create and implement digital marketing strategies by utilising different digital mediums and setting measurable KPIs.
- Coordinate and execute digital marketing campaigns across various digital platforms, whilst collaborating with the design team to create visually appealing marketing materials to suit various platforms.
- Monitor, track, analyse and report on campaign performance, with the help of specialised digital tools to make data driven recommendations.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and new growth opportunities.
- Create and curate social media campaigns, including content creation, publishing, and community management on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and TikTok.
- Manage and optimise PPC campaigns on various platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Conduct keyword research and on-page optimisation to increase website rankings and drive organic traffic.
Travel Requirements:
Travel may be required for meetings and training purposes.
Travel may be required for site support and regional development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar qualification
- Excellent English verbal / written skills.
- Relevent experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate independently and within a team
- Experience with digital tools: CMS systems (e.g. Sitecore, Email marketing (e.g. MailChimp, MailerLite), Google Analytics
- Social Media, including using a social media management tool (e.g. Hootsuite)
- CRM
- Photoshop/photo editing tools
