Nidec Conversion is a Business Segment of Nidec Group, which combines the products and services of Nidec ASI, Avtron Industrial Automation, Nidec Industrial Automation and Motortecnica to supply comprehensive electric systems globally. In 2012 Nidec acquired Avtron Industrial Automation to expand its industrial platform. Today the North American team is doing business as Nidec Conversion North America as well as designing, manufacturing and sales of Avtron Encoders.
