Though the AC shaded pole gearmotor continues to be the workhorse of the industry, Nidec has developed a high-efficiency, Brushless DC solution to meet the current and future requirements of these markets. The Brushless DC solution designed and manufactured inhouse, provides not only an ultra-quiet solution with longer life, but is fully programmable so the end-customer can vary the speed of the fuel auger. This feature also decreases the noise profile of the gearmotor when less fuel is required.
