The agreement will change the way Control Techniques operates in Ireland. Gareth Jones, Regional Director for Control Techniques, said: “We decided to restructure how we do business to strengthen our position within Ireland. Now, instead of selling direct to end customers, Pneutrol’s broad stock offer will enable Control Techniques drives to be sold alongside a wider range complimentary products and value-add services. We believe this will benefit our customers and help us to continue to grow.” 

Pneutrol, has a base in Dublin and Antrim, employing 50 people. Its offer includes everything from individual components through to complete engineered automation solutions incorporating drives, motion controls and other equipment.  

The changes take place from August 4, 2020. Gareth Jones added: “We strongly believe that this change in business model will enhance our customers’ experience, ensuring everyone can get the fastest and easiest access to Control Techniques products, excellent support, and the availability of a wide range of complementary products and engineering services.”
