ST. LOUIS, MO –November 18, 2025 – Nidec U.S. MOTORS® is proud to launch its new TEFC Inverter Duty Closed Coupled Pump (CCP) motor line at Groundwater Week 2025 (Booth #1547). The motors offer enhanced performance and energy savings in variable-speed pumping applications used in irrigation, water treatment, data centers, commercial buildings, petrochemical, and food processing.

The new CCP product line is built to handle inverter driven applications with Nidec’s INVERTER GRADE® insulation system, which allows the motors to withstand spike and transient voltages induced by variable frequency drives. The insulation system makes the motors fully compliant with and exceeding NEMA MG-1, Part 30 & 31. For an added level of protection, every TEFC Inverter Duty CCP motor is equipped with an Aegis shaft grounding ring, to eliminate issues caused by shaft voltage, ensuring long bearing life.

Also to be featured at Groundwater Week is Nidec/U.S MOTORS’ iconic vertical HOLLOSHAFT® motor, the motor has continuously set the standard for the vertical turbine pump industry. Known for its longevity, reliability and ease of use, the HOLLOSHAFT and solid shaft pump motor can be configured to satisfy specific vertical motor application requirements. These vertical motors are made to keep farming, turf, municipal and industrial pumps up and running in even the harshest conditions.

Nidec U.S. MOTORS’ Patrick Hogg, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, will speak at the show on the impact of the new Super Premium Efficiency motor rule from the U.S. Department of Energy. His presentation is scheduled for Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. in Rooms 271/273 at the New Orleans Convention Center.
