Visitors to the Nidec booth will get a close-up look at the cooling-related technologies across the Nidec portfolio, including energy-efficient pump and fan motors from U.S. MOTORS®, intelligent drive solutions from Nidec Drives, high-performance Dyneo+® motors from LEROY-SOMER® and Nidec’s newest Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU). Together, these technologies offer a complete view of how Nidec solutions work together to power the next generation of data centers.

U.S. MOTORS:

• SynRA® Unimount CCP - The SynRA Unimount delivers IE4/IE5-level energy efficiency performance with a magnet-free synchronous reluctance design, making it a powerful, sustainable upgrade to cooling fans, pumps and variable-speed systems. With significantly lower energy losses on variable frequency drives (VFD)s, it helps reduce operating costs while improving long-term reliability. 

• ID300 Fusion® CCP - A compact, integrated motor-and-drive system engineered for reliability and control. The ID300 Fusion combines advanced electronics, an onboard PLC and a rugged mechanical design to deliver precise performance in demanding environments. With multiple horsepower and voltage options and IP55 protection, it's built to handle mission-critical data center operation with ease. 

• World Motor® - The World Motor line delivers cast-iron, TEFC durability built for harsh environments, meeting or exceeding both NEMA and IEC standards for global compatibility. Designed for severe-duty applications, these motors offer easier installation with oversized conduit boxes, flexible mounting options and robust construction to last. 

• Inverter Duty CCP - Built for VFD applications, this line features Insulife 200 varnish and reinforced MG1-Part 31 construction, offering exceptional resistance to heat, vibration and electrical stress. Available up to 200 HP (TFEC) and 400 HP (ODP), this motor is engineered for long service life in environments with dynamic load demands. 

• New TITAN® TEFC L449 Frame —This motor delivers rugged, cast-iron durability and reliable vertical-mount performance up to 500 HP. Designed for pumping applications used in data centers, it features a Class F insulation, re-greaseable bearings, corrosion-resistant construction and versatile customization options--built to handle harsh industrial environments with confidence.

LEROY-SOMER:

• Dyneo+® - This line of IE5, variable speed, synchronous reluctance motors with permanent magnets (without rare earth minerals) optimizes the energy efficiency of a coolant distribution unit (CDU) and helps to meet the new PUE standards of 1.2 for current and future generations of data centers. Dyneo+ is compact and lightweight to meet space constraints and to be easily integrated into a CDU. The Dyneo+ provides accurate speed and torque control to fit requirements and is a reliable, long service life solution with one of the lowest Total Cost of Ownership figures on the market.  Maintenance of a CDU equipped with Dyneo+ motors is also easier to perform than with larger, heavier induction motors.

Nidec Drives:

Commander® series AC drives - Simple to use, reliable motor controls with a 5-year warranty.

• Commander S AC Micro Drive is the first drive available on the market with onboard NFC (short-range wireless technology). The drive can be configured in minutes via a smartphone without requiring power to be applied to the drive. The drive is IP20 rated and available in multiple power ratings and input voltages.
• Commander C AC Compact Drive is a digital communicating VFD available in a wide range of input voltages up to 690 V and power ratings up to 200 hp. The drive is IP20 rated and is suitable for use in environments with A2L refrigerants. The extensive on-board parameter set and PLC functionality, coupled with plug-in communication options, including BACnet/IP, provide low-cost drive-based process control solutions.

Specialist HVAC Building Automation Drives backed by a 5-Year warranty.

• H300 Building Automation Drive provides energy-efficient control of HVAC fans, pumps, and compressor motors. It incorporates a variety of building automation features, including a multi-speed cooling fan for whisper-quiet operation and onboard BACnet MSTP communications. The drive now has an enhanced LCD keypad with Bluetooth wireless technology. The drive can control induction and permanent magnet (PM) motors rated up to 4,200 hp and available with input voltages of 208 – 230 V, 380 – 460 V, and 575 V.

Nidec Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs):

Due to the ever-increasing thermal loads of the data center, CDUs are required to provide adequate cooling infrastructure. Backed by years of experience in design and precision processing, Nidec offers highly reliable solutions to support a wide range of thermal requirements. Nidec is a leading supplier for CDUs and has experience in other cooling components such as Cold Plates, Coolant Distribution Manifolds (CDM), and Quick Disconnects (QD).
