The motors drive pumps that are used in many different industries, such as water/wastewater, petrochemical, power, and mining. They feature improved conduit box sealing, cast iron frame, brackets and fan cover guard, and through-the-bearing lubrication for better expelling of used grease, which extends motor life and is particularly critical for vertical motors. The motors also include an option to meet API® 610 driver requirements.

The new CTV-3 & TVC-3 medium-high thrust is intended for use on vertical turbine pumping applications that do not require a non-reverse ratchet where the motor’s thrust bearings can provide an acceptable L-10 bearing life. This product is available in Hostile Duty® and CORRO-DUTY® constructions. This product can be provided in full compliance with API 610 shaft, flange and endplay tolerances as an option.
The TVC-9 medium thrust CORRO-DUTY® motor is designed for use with ANSI® B73.1 and API 610 vertical in-line centrifugal pumps that require the motor to manage the axial loading. A rigid connection between the pump shaft and the motor shaft allows the motor bearings to support the thrust loads generated by the pump's impeller. API 610 tolerances are also available as an option on this product.
