Nidec/U.S. MOTORS® introduces new commercial HVAC/R
and data center solutions at 2026 AHR Expo
Motor manufacturer exhibits latest products
at 2026 AHR Expo, Booth C3625 at the Las Vegas Convention Center
ST. LOUIS – Jan. 26, 2026 –Nidec is pleased to unveil at this year’s AHR Expo several new products for the HVAC and refrigeration industries. The new products cater to residential applications for central ducted air conditioners, as well as commercial applications like cold rooms, heat pumps, and rooftop chillers. Tailored for both OEMs and the aftermarket, these offerings are engineered to meet diverse market needs while complying with strict international regulations.
Nidec’s Embraco brand is introducing a new line of scroll compressors that deliver superior refrigeration temperature stability and enhanced energy efficiency. Under its U.S. MOTORS® brand, Nidec is launching a cooling tower motor that helps keep industries like data centers operating at peak performance, and a premium efficiency inverter duty closed coupled pump (CCP) motor for energy savings in data centers, commercial buildings, and other applications.

Nidec Global Appliance provides high-performance solutions for commercial and residential applications. Its diverse portfolio features Embraco’s refrigeration technology, Nidec motors for residential laundry and dishwashers, and FIR motors and pumps for the food service and medical industries. The new Embraco Pulse Scroll compressor line ranges in size from 2HP to 15HP. The compressor adapts its cooling capacity output from 10% to 100% for superior temperature stability, reducing refrigerated product loss. It operates quietly and delivers enhanced energy savings during low-load operation. The compressor is suitable for refrigeration, such as multideck reach-ins and cold rooms, as well as heating applications.
Nidec’s new World Motor® Cooling Tower Motor is designed for use not only in cooling towers but also in evaporative condenser and other commercial and industrial applications requiring protection from harsh operating conditions with high humidity. This totally enclosed fan-cooled motor is a premium efficient, inverter duty offering, delivering energy savings.
The new variable speed CCP motor features Nidec’s INVERTER GRADE® insulation system, which allows it to withstand spike and transient voltages induced by variable frequency drives (VFDs), for longer motor life and dependability.
At AHR, Nidec will also display high efficiency motors and controls that significantly reduce carbon emissions for both residential and commercial HVAC applications. For example, the PrecisionFlowTM electronically commutated motor (ECM) offers up to 85 percent efficiency, an improvement of up to 30 percent over common PSC motors. These energy savings apply to both residential and commercial HVAC applications. The motor is available in both ventilation and pumping versions.
Nidec’s award-winning, super-premium SynRA® synchronous motor, delivering high efficiency levels up to IE4/IE5, will also be featured. Compatible with standard VFDs, SynRA offers easy programming, higher efficiency, and lower maintenance costs thanks to its unique design that allows individual component replacement. Built-in Smart Building Technology reduces wear on pump systems by preventing unnecessary speed, ensuring optimal performance for any application demand.

- RESCUE EZ13®– Universal ECM Replacement: RESCUE EZ13 is a high-efficiency ECM designed as a drop-in replacement for OEM constant torque ECM. The auto rotation sensing technology automatically determines motor direction. It's wired to the OEM equipment using the equipment's existing connections for ease of installation. No programming required.
- RESCUE EZ16® - 16-Pin Universal ECM Replacement: The RESCUE EZ16 motor is a patented electronically commutated constant torque aftermarket motor developed for the HVAC residential/light commercial market. Equipped with an EZ Interface (EZI) box used to tune the motor at installation, it provides a drop-in solution for systems using legacy 16-pin variable speed EC motors.
- RESCUE Select Pro® – Preprogrammed ECM Replacement for Furnaces and Air Handlers: The RESCUE Select Pro is the aftermarket solution for OEM constant torque EC motors. With thousands of OEM performance profiles on a cloud-based web service app, the RESCUE Select Pro can be programmed directly through any smart phone or Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® enabled device.
- RESCUE EcoTech® – PSC to ECM replacement motor. Designed to be a drop-in replacement for permanent split capacitor (PSC) motors. RESCUE EcoTech motors are multi-horsepower, dual voltage and have reversible rotation. No wiring changes are required.
- RESCUE EcoTech® Outdoor 48– Developed to stand up to harsh environments and temperatures found in outdoor condensing units. The RESCUE EcoTech Outdoor 48 EC Condenser Fan Motor is programmed to match the rotation and speed most preferred by major equipment manufacturers; and offers the flexibility for adjustment to speed and rotation.
- EcoTech® EC Motor - Upgrade to the performance and efficiency of an EC motor without redesigning systems! The ECOTECH® Line Voltage EC Motor provides benefits of ECM technology as a "drop-in" for most PSC-powered blowers. Five factory programmed torque or speed settings are controlled by line voltage speed taps allowing connection directly to existing controls and switches, simply and easily. The ECOTECH® EC motor is the simplest path to advanced technology in HVAC systems.
- SelecTech® Motor – A durable, easy-to-integrate Electrically Commutated Motor (ECM) solution for high-efficient direct drive blower applications. The available nine discrete 24 volt tap settings are fully programmable on your assembly line for different airflow requirements. Rugged and simple to operate, the SelecTech motor is setting a new benchmark for reliable ECM technology. Includes 460V and dual shaft configurations.
- PerfectSpeed® 42 – This high-efficiency EC motor provides precise control in a 42-frame package. Designed to meet the increased demand for EC technology in lower horsepower applications, this motor offers exceptional flexibility through its broad range of voltage and control input options in a single rating. The PerfectSpeed 42 motor delivers EC efficiency in various applications, including dual shaft blowers and axial fans.
The World Motor® line of cast-iron, totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) motors delivers severe-duty performance for the harshest environments. Built for various industries and applications, including HVAC, World Motor offers fast delivery and custom engineering options to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
